We Offer Comprehensive Dental Services at 4 Convenient Locations in the Foothills NC Area!

Our Mission is to Provide High-Quality Care For The Whole Family!

It’s about family.

We love seeing moms who have spent their adult lives caring for and providing for their children. Now it’s your turn.

We provide restorative and cosmetic dental options, so you have the most confident smile in those family photos of the kids and grandkids.

I’m concerned about safety.

We realize that now more than ever, safety is a concern. The safety of our staff and patients has always been our top priority.

We have upgraded our safety protocols and equipment to make sure each patient is safe and cared for.

I need a local dentist who gets to know me.

Most people view the dental visit as a chore. A box to be checked. We get it, dentist visits are not always fun. We firmly believe in building relationships with patients that keep you coming back.

At Foothills Dental, we want to be more than just an item on a to-do list. We want to be old friends that enjoy sharing a smile and a good laugh.

I have tooth pain!

This happens to the best of us. If you’re experiencing discomfort or high sensitivity it’s best to contact us right away. Waiting can lead to more complicated issues down the road.

In most cases, we can get you in the same day. Our comfort appointments are designed so you can get out of pain quickly.

I need a dentist I can trust.

We won’t treat you as a transaction. At Foothills Dental, we value relationships.

Even if it’s been years since you have been to the dentist, we won’t judge!  No need to feel embarrassed. It is true that the longer you delay dental treatment, the more painful and expensive it becomes.

If you want a dentist that can provide you consistent care and a healthy mouth, you’ve found the right place.

Cleaning & Wellness Screening

Your oral health has a significant effect on your overall health. Studies show a direct connection between diabetes/smoking and periodontal disease.

At your initial appointment, we will thoroughly review your health history and previous dental history before doing a Comprehensive Examination. Utilizing the latest technology ensures better clinical outcomes, less anxiety, and less time in the office.

Visiting the dentist every six months will help catch minor dental problems before they become big.

TMD & Sleep Apnea

Sleep Apnea and TMD (Temporomandibular disorders) affect many people, disrupting their everyday lives and routines. Sleep apnea affects not only the individual but also their partners by keeping them awake with snoring. TMD, also known as TMJ disorder, often causes chronic facial pain.

We offer a variety of treatments that help ease the complications associated with TMD and Sleep Apnea.

There are numerous options from Invisalign, Sure Smile, six-month smiles, and more… Invisalign clear aligners, or traditional wire braces are available to straighten your teeth and bite.

New Patient Specials

Complimentary Electric Toothbrush

My main concern is that you continue on a journey of excellent dental health. That’s why I offer a complimentary electric toothbrush at your initial visit.

Not available at all locations. Qualifying patients only.

Free Whitening

We want you to love your smile. Having a bright smile increases confidence. We offer free whitening for our new patients that complete an initial visit for our patients with healthy smiles.

We Offer A Wide Variety Of Dental Services

    Cosmetic Dentistry

From teeth whitening and veneers to a complete smile makeover—and everything in between—we offer the dental procedure to give you the smile of your dreams.

    Emergency Services

If you are in pain, have lost a tooth, or have suffered an injury to your mouth, call right away. Even if you have not been a patient of ours in the past, we have flexibility during our normal office hours to accommodate emergencies such as a toothache, infection, broken tooth, or injury.

    Extractions

We always try to save the natural tooth whenever possible. Sometimes last resort treatment is called for because a tooth cannot be saved. When there is too much damage to a tooth, the only option might be dental extraction—especially if it is putting your other teeth at risk.

    Pediatric Dentistry

Finding a dentist you trust to treat your entire family is an important part of taking care of everyone’s overall health. If you have small children, in particular, you want to know that your dentist enjoys treating kids. We treat both adults and children, so you don’t have to go to 2 offices!

    Root Canal Therapy

A root canal is a treatment that removes a damaged or dead nerve and replaces it with an inert material. In most cases, we recommend a crown be placed soon after a root canal in order to maintain the strength of the tooth.

    Teeth Whitening

A whiter smile is within reach with in-office and take-home whitening systems. Our in-office system uses a curing light and gives you immediate results. If you prefer to do the whitening in the comfort of your own home, we will give you a professional-grade system that includes mouth trays and gel.

    Sissy Benfield

“The staff were great. Very friendly and professional. Usually am nervous at thought of having to go to the dentist but they make you feel at ease and comfortable. Appreciated that very much. I would recommend anyone to go to this dentistry with teeth issues.”

    Your First Visit

We offer personalized dental care by creating an experience that is unique to you and your mouth.

Before we can complete a dental cleaning, we need to gather information pertaining specifically to you and your mouth. Your first visit with us will include a comprehensive oral exam.

This detailed exam will form the basis of our relationship with your mouth.

    What To Expect:

    • Review of both your medical and oral health
    • Discuss any concerns or questions you may have
    • Complete x-rays, digital pictures, a physical examination, and an oral cancer screening.

After this highly personalized exam, our staff will make every effort to complete a dental cleaning.

Depending on the presence and severity of any periodontal disease (gum disease), a more thorough cleaning may be necessary; if so, we will schedule an additional visit to do so.
